Haul 004

Here I am again,

Since being missing, I have been spending instead of blogging.

I have been addicted to eyeshadows recently and I have been finding myself spending and spending.

First up is L'Oreal Colour Appeal in Real Silver, I am loving metallics recently and I usually stick to a safe Gold number but thought I would be daring and try Silver. It cost me around £4-5 and is quite pigmented:
Next up is Maybelline eyestudio mono in 412 Lagoon Blue. I am loving ocean colours and am planning to pair this blue with the L'Oreal Real Silver shadow :)

Last but not least I have seen these palettes all over the internet, these of course are the Sleek eyeshadow palettes, I bought the original pallet for about £4.88 I love it so much :)

At the moment I am totally addicted to nail polish, I think its because currently I cant wear nail polish at work as I am at the hospital and not uni :( as you tell by my eyeshadow purchases I am loving metallic and this shines through on one of my purchases from Gosh:
And the other is pink rose :)

I got another nail polish........I know what your thinking. Its from Miss Sporty in Superdrug and its gorgeous and unusual.

It cost me about £2 Bargain!!

I am still battling with my hair and its dryness so stick around I have some new products for my hair to review :)

MIA

Hello again,

I know I have been away for quite a long time, The saying is true "some people get all the luck" but sadly not for me. University has been so hectic I have been worrying sick about assignments.

I have had car trouble.........but that's not new for me :)

Man Trouble that's always high on my list!

A member of my family is poorly........I hope he gets better soon.

So this is a brief summary as to why I have been missing in action, But this should be an end to that as I want to get back on the blogging horse!!

Splendids and Bads V.004

Evening Ladies,

I am going through a spell of strange moods at the moment, I don't know what to put it down to at the moment, so I think I shall settle with the weather!

The winter nights are closing in on us ever so quickly in the UK, is it the same for you guys in the America's, Rest of Europe? I am not happy with this, as I don't want to move away from my bright summer colours, to the toned down, vampyness of winter :(

No great news on the love life, pah, I am giving up looking at the moment. I seem to attract strange people whom are needy and jealous..........NOT GOOD!

Splendids
  • Barry M 101 - Your probably thinking......you disliked this product a couple of weeks ago and granted I did. But now I have changed my mind, this is because I found away that suited me to wear it, I have to make sure my lips are exfoliated and well moisturised with lip balm then apply 101. But so far so good it is rivaling my Gosh Darling.
  • Garnier Pure Activ moisturiser - I was sent this buy a pr company awhile ago and have only just started using it really, and lets say it has made my weekend. I was very shiny Saturday and this was depressing me, so I tried this moisturiser and seemed to make my skin turn from shiny to matte in 1 min!

Bad

  • The weather is really getting me down, think I may be suffering from a touch of SAD :(

How have all your weekends been!? Great I hope......Take care

V05 Absolute Blonde Review

Long time no speak ladies!

Here is a quick review, as you know I have been testing different shampoos and conditioners aimed at us girlies with blonde locks.

I have tested John Frieda's Go Blonder range and I wasn't overly impressed, so now I am using V05's Absolute blonde collections. Now V05 say:

"Restore your hair’s natural beauty with this indulgent Elixir, containing extracts of Honey and Chamomile, to transform dull and brassy tones. It brightens and refreshes blonde hair tones, nourishing and strengthening your hair."

I started using the shampoo and conditioner about 2-3 weeks ago. The shampoo is clear has quite a floral smell but nothing too overbearing, the product lathered up in the hair nicely and wasn't too difficult to wash out.

The conditioner was a nicer consistency to the John Frieda, wasn't as thick and milky but light enough that you could use this as an everyday product, this impressed me.

My hair was left feeling lighter, and more nourished........could this be due to the 5 vital oils apparently in this product. My hair felt soft and smooth for once.

Price: I picked this up for £2.60 each. I was impressed with the price 5/5

Packaging: I could tell the difference straight away in the shower between the shampoo and conditioner. 5/5

Product: I am most probably going to buy this again, and will also recommend it as it moisturised my hair in one swoop. 4/5
